Google adds a business hub, brand kit and finance tools to the Gemini app
Google has added a dedicated business landing page to the Gemini app. Owners can save a brand kit for on-brand visuals, turn spreadsheets and receipts into financial charts, and connect Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Workspace and apps such as Shopify, Canva, Zoho and Xero. The rollout is global and starts in the coming days.

What happened?
On 20 October 2026 Google announced a set of Gemini app features built for small business owners. The main addition is a business landing page, which Google describes as one central place to manage daily tasks, build a brand, analyse finances and review customer insights. Owners can upload their website, brand kit, fonts or colour palettes once. Gemini then uses Nano Banana 2.1, Google's latest image model, to create launch and campaign visuals in that saved style, so the guidelines don't have to be uploaded again each time. On the finance side, Gemini can turn spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into charts and interactive models. New connected apps include Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace, plus Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero. Google says the features start rolling out globally to all Gemini app users in the coming days. Larger organisations are pointed to Gemini Enterprise.
Why it matters for businesses
Most Indian small businesses keep their marketing, accounts and customer data in separate tools, and the owner usually connects them by hand. With Zoho, Shopify, Wix and Google Business Profile all on the list, many local firms could ask one assistant about their sales, reviews and ad spend together. The brand kit feature also deals with a common problem: festive creatives that look different on Instagram, WhatsApp and the website. Because the tools are in the regular Gemini app, a shop owner or clinic doesn't need an enterprise contract to try them.
How businesses can use this update
- Create a brand kit in Gemini with your logo files, fonts, colour codes and website URL before you request any campaign visuals. - Connect Google Business Profile and Google Ads so you can ask plain questions, such as which locations or campaigns brought calls last month. - Upload monthly sales sheets or purchase bills to get a quick visual summary, then have your accountant check the numbers. - Choose who in your team can connect business accounts, and review the data permissions for each connected app before you switch it on.
Pacewalk expert note
Treat the Gemini business hub as a fast first draft for creatives and reports, not as the final decision-maker. Run a brand-kit trial on one product line and compare the output with what your designer makes. Keep financial interpretations with a qualified person. If you already run Google Ads and Business Profile, the integrations are a useful way to spot questions worth investigating, as long as you check the answers against the native dashboards.
